In this episode, I am joined renowned author and nutrition therapist Elyse Resch, MS, RDN, CEDRD-S, Fiaedp, FAND. Elyse is nationally known for her work in helping patients break free from diet culture through the Intuitive Eating process. Alongside Evelyn Tribole, MS, RDN, CEDRD-S, together they co-authored “Intuitive Eating,” a revolutionary book and movement now in its fourth edition. In addition to establishing anti-diet framework, “Intuitive Eating” introduced readers to the ten principles of their mind-body approach to finding peace and freedom with food and body. Elyse’s philosophy embraces the goal of developing body liberation, with the belief that all bodies deserve dignity, and reconnecting with one’s internal wisdom about eating. Recovered from an eating disorder herself, Elyse has over thirty-nine years of experience specializing in eating disorders, Intuitive Eating, and Health at Every Size.
